WILD LIFE TOURS

Wildlife Camping is an ecotourism programs we offer in the wilderness areas of Kerala. All the programs mentioned here are organized and operated with permission from the State Forest Department and are operated with the assistance of the forest department officials and the people from the local/indigenous communities. Active participation of people from the local/ indigenous communities throughout the program and direct economic benefits for them is ensured. Carrying capacity of each destination and camping sites are fixed as per the advice of the ecotourism and wildlife experts.
Maximum number of travellers in a group is fixed to 6 for overnight camping programs in the wildlife sanctuaries/Parks.

BIRDING TOURS

THATTEKAD BIRD SANCTUARY is one of the two bird sanctuaries in Kerala. Situated in Ernakulam district, this PA is a feast to the eyes and music to the ears. Several species of birds found in South India are seen here. The famous ornithologist, Dr. Salim Ali, was the architect of this sanctuary. He reported 167 birds during the Travancore-Cochin Bird Survey. The Bombay Natural History Society had identified 253 species of birds in Thattekkad. Spread over an extent of 25.16 sq. km, Thattekkad attracts nature lovers from far and wide. Best season: August to May.
